Purchase Stainless Steel False Bottom Kit

Perforated stainless screen is 18 gage stainless steel. 3/32" hole size at a 5/32" stagger. 11 1/2" in diameter. Designed to fit the contour of a Sanke Kegs, American or European, and works great when used in a flat bottom brew kettle. • 11 1/2 inches in Diameter will fit easily thru a 12” cutout. (Sanke Keg) • The dip tube is flared to help kit it from coming up thru the false bottom. • This design, even through it doesn’t fit tight against the sides of your kettle, is a cost effective way to all-grain brew. • If the dip tube is too close to the bottom, the flow can be restricted. Using a stainless steel hose clamp above the false bottom and around the dip tube will keep the dip tube up off the kettle (see detail). • A 3/8 Compression x 1/2” Pipe thread fitting may be required to connect the dip tube to the thru- wall fitting installed in your kettle or converted keg.
